Pine is a soft wood  usually know for it's many knots.  It is predominantly
a light yellow to an off-white in color. While pine is a uniform colored wood
you will notice some slight natural color variations and occasionally some
small traces of grayish black mineral deposits which were absorbed during
the trees natural growth. Random knots and worm holes give pine a natural
character and  beauty all of it's own.
